Infertility Alternative Treatments and Natural Fertility Remedies – 6 Tips for Your Success
Whether you’ve already spent a fair amount of time trying to get pregnant or you’re just starting out, using infertility alternative treatments and natural fertility remedies can be confusing.
Here are 6 tips to consider in your research for that natural fertility remedy:
Get Enough Sleep and Sunlight
Did you know that sleep helps restore and rejuvenate our reproductive system? When women who worked in notoriously sleep-deprived professions - flight attendants and nurses working the late shift - were polled by researchers half of them reported irregular menstrual cycles.
This is quite high compared to the normal working population where only 20 percent experienced irregular cycles.
There is also some indication that before the advent of working indoors, artificial lighting and birth control pills, women all ovulated in sync with the phases of the moon.
What About Herbs
When considering the use of herbs for natural fertility remedies keep in mind that they contain potent ingredients therefore never use herbs on your own without consulting an herbalist or a naturopath.
Herbs used for natural fertility remedies include the following – Licorice, Red Clover Blossom, Black Cohosh, Wild Yam, Dong Quai, Chastetree Berry and False Unicorn Root.
Consider Acupuncture
According to traditional Chinese medicine we have energy flows called meridians running though out our bodies. When these flows become blocked illness can be a result, including infertility.
Change Your Diet and Use Supplements
Try to eliminate processed foods and junk. Eat whole foods, organic if possible and avoid beef with added hormones.
Your mother told you to eat your fruits and vegetables…she was right!
Add supplements to your routine. Vitamin E is a precursor for hormones and zinc will help keep the reproductive organs healthy.
Now to recap – consider using acupuncture and/or herbs, get plenty of sleep and sunlight, try changing your diet for the better and add supplements.

A faster way to lose weight?
I know most of these questions are given the response “Impossible” but hear me out first. It takes a lot of strength to own up to this, but I am 200+ pounds. My height makes it look a little bit less, but not by much. I have never been comfortable with my body from the age of ten to present day. I have a wedding to attend in July, and my (hopeful) goal is to lose 30 to 40 pounds by then. I’m not looking for supplements, paid plans, etc. What I am looking for is suggestions on what types of exercises I should do, what foods I should stick to eating, and what things I need to cut out. I know that I should drink plenty of water, never over-do the exercises, and try to stay as healthy as possible. I’m on a path to becoming a better, healthier, and happier person (seeing as my weight has added on to this constant depression that I have been battling). Thank you in advance.
Cut out refined grains. White bread, white rice, white pasta.. anything like that is no good. Make it all WHOLE grains.
Cut out sugary liquid like soda and juice. Yep, juice. Drink water and eat the fruit instead. It’s much healthier.
Eat a big breakfast full of protein and complex carbs to get your metabolism going.
As for exercise, do cardio. Ride a bike. Go running. Swim. If you find yourself struggling to exercise, slowly build up by walking more and more each day, then slowly start to get tougher on your body.
Don’t be hard on yourself if you slip once in a while. It happens. Don’t make up for it be eating less the next day.
Good luck. I know you can do it, and if you keep yourself determined, you’ll be fine.
