Is ADHD a real disease, or is it just nature’s way of saying our modern life is unnatural and unhealthy?
Lately I have been wondering how suddenly half the population of the industrialized world suddenly developed ADD/ADHD. My guess is that humans go a little batty when forced to sit in a chair all day staring at a glowing screen (says the guy typing at a computer, but whatever). I really don’t know anything about this though so it’s just wild speculation. Are there any respectable journal articles that have explored the suddenness of this disorder’s increased prevalence?
I should specify Adult ADHD, thanks.
ADD/ADHD are quite real but overdiagnosed . Some people believe that Asperger Syndrome also is not real . Of course these people have never raised a child with the condition as I have .
