My son has Adhd, and has just been diagnosew with Asperger Syndrom, has anyone tried the gluten free diet?
I am reading all about this gluten free diet, and find it odd. Can anyone explain the scientific reasoning behind it?
Because Asperger’s Syndrome is a high functioning form of autism, see sections 12, 21, and 22 - 25, in my website, (I’m an Aspie) at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris and adopt the recommended dietary changes, as well as finding a treatment program, where he can learn the interpretive, and social skills, which will facilitate his transitition into the mainstream, or as near as possible. I believe gluten has a form of allergic reaction with the lining of the digestive system, and it is also associated with Irritable Bowel Syndrome, but you would do better by using Google, Wikipedia, and your search engine on this, and/or re-posting this question in another section, such as medicine.
